COLDPLAY : GHOST STORIES OFFICIAL TRAILER

Hybrid film directed by Dugdale. Part bespoke live performance, part scripted music video, the film was structured and developed by Dugdale, while working closely with the band and their team. Shot on location in Sony Studios, Los Angeles, the film also has scenes shot at various locations around California.

He studied at Central Saint Martins School of Art in London. His passion for music and film has led him to write, direct, and be creative lead on documentaries and concert movies for some of the world’s biggest artists including; Adele, The Rolling Stones, Karol G, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, The Prodigy, Elton John, Maluma, The Smile, Paul McCartney, and many others.

All films edited to taste and vision of the artist, to serve the music.

Dugdale’s most recent work for Coldplay, holds the record for the largest live to air cinema broadcast of all time. He has had 14 theatrically released films to date.

MUSIC FILM:

Dugdale is best know for writing and directing high profile, premium music documentaries and concert films. His role often involves being creative lead on a project, from the conception of the creative approach, writing, structure and aesthetic, through to execution and completion.

To date 15 of Dugdale’s films have also been released theatrically, playing in movie theatres and cinemas around the world. Recent theatrically released concert feature for Coldplay entered the global cinema box office top 10.

He has had 6 separate stand alone feature length music films on Netflix.

‘Red Bull Future Underground’ 3 nights of concert parties at a secret underground location in central London.

‘Red Bull Revolutions In Sound’ saw 32 artists performing in the iconic London Eye, creating 30 simultaneous clubs for 1 landmark night of world beating dance music. It beat the world record previously held by the Olympics 2012 for most live streams broadcast in history.

A multi camera commercial for ‘Hello Bank’ / BNP Paribas, saw Dugdale shoot in Prague with world renowned conductor Libor Pesek for a technologically ground breaking multimedia project creating an orchestra out of phones and tablets.
