COVID-19 SAFE

During this unprecedented global pandemic, myself and my colleagues have been working hard to familiarise ourselves with all COVID-19 safe working practices in order to adapt to the ‘new normal’ in the film industry.

As ever, it is paramount to us that we continue to keep all artists and crew safe on our projects, and we are following new British Film Commission, Directors Guild of America, and TV Production Guidance protocol closely to help keep our industry going whilst still observing safe working procedures in these tough times.

During 2020 we have conceived and directed several Covid safe projects. 2 US performance shoots, one at The Hollywood Bowl, and another at a remote ranch in Santa Clarita. Both were Covid Safe, and in this instance given the location, directed remotely. We have created 3 major global live streams. James Bay Live at Shakespeare’s Globe, Sam Smith Live from Abbey Road Studios, and Niall Horan Live at the Royal Albert Hall. We also have a range of other robust and innovative solutions for creating and executing, exciting new music projects, even whilst social distancing guidance is in place. Late last year we produced a global livestream broadcast for Coldplay, from Amman, Jordan for YouTube Originals. The project pre dated the COVID-19 outbreak, but notably presented the band’s performance without a live audience present. The band were filmed playing songs from their new album during Sunrise and Sunset. You can watch the Sunrise show below.
